Cast resin power transformers

The transformers are built in compliance with IEC 60076-11 standards and, IEEE C57.12.01 (or other on request).
For European market ,the calculation is made according to Ecodesign regulation, norms EN 50588-1.
The core is made of cold rolled oriented grain steel sheet with low specific loss, cut at 45°C, step-lap, assembled at interleaved joints, with high care.
It is calculated to obtain the minimum residual flux, reduced inrush current, low noise, low iron loss.
  • Technical features

    The transformers are built in compliance with IEC 60076-11 standards and, IEEE C57.12.01 (or other on request).
    The core is made of cold rolled oriented grain steel sheet with low specific loss, cut at 45°C, step-lap, assembled at interleaved joints, with high care. It is calculated to obtain the minimum residual flux, reduced inrush current, low noise, low iron loss.

    The precise assembling and correct tightening guarantee an uniform stiffness and prevent vibrations so determining the optimal characteristic of the core itself.

    Resin cast composable bases and supports of high resistance are used to keep fasten in their seats primary and secondary coils.

    The LV windings are made in aluminium foil with insulation material in class H: this technology assures an high resistance to electrodynamic efforts. The coils are then impregnated with polymerized resins in the oven to guarantee high protection against pollution.

    The MV windings are made with aluminium foil strip, in subcoils connected in series; the tapping are designed symmetrically, in order to avoid unbalance of amp/turn. The casting of the HV windings, fundamental phase in the whole production system, is obtained with the combined action of vacuum and temperature. The complete process is controlled and monitored with a computerized system of data acquisition which allows the respect of the parameters needed for the achieving of a product with high quality standards. The windings can be made with copper.
